Job description
As a Work Preparation & Planning Coordinator within our Wood Department, you play an essential role in supporting daily production activities. You ensure that work orders are fully prepared, documented and ready for execution, allowing the production team to work efficiently and without interruptions.
You work closely with Shift Leaders, Process Engineers, Logistics and Production teams to coordinate workflows and safeguard production progress. Your attention to detail ensures that all required documentation, instructions and materials are available before production starts.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and process work orders for the Wood production department
- Review and interpret customer drawings and production requirements
- Translate technical information into clear internal work instructions
- Print and organize production orders, drawings, photos and cutting instructions
- Ensure all orders are complete and ready before the planned production date
- Coordinate with Logistics to ensure timely order picking and material availability
- Support Shift Leaders with administrative and planning-related activities
- Monitor production progress and communicate with internal departments when required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and work preparation processes
- Comply with company procedures regarding safety, quality, environmental standards and workplace organization
Your team
You will become part of our Wood Department, working closely with the Shift Leaders and Process Engineers. In this role, you act as a central support function between production, logistics and other internal departments. Together, you ensure a smooth production process and help deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.
