- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industial Design, Industrial Engineering, or similar (WTB / IPO)
- Proven experience in a technical project management role
- Experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, and scope management
- Experience within a high-tech environment (semiconductor is a plus)
- Proven leadership experience (must-have)
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal technical teams

Job description
As a Project Manager at HQ Pack, you are responsible for managing a portfolio of complex, high-tech projects. You ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timeline, and budget, while maintaining strong relationships with customers.
You act as the primary point of contact for customers and play a key role in coordinating and coaching the internal teams. You lead a team of Project Engineers and ensure alignment, progress, and performance across multiple projects simultaneously.
You are the “eyes and ears” within the organization, ensuring that projects run smoothly, risks are managed, and stakeholders remain aligned.
Your tasks include:
- Managing and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously (±40 projects)
- Ensuring control over planning, budget, and scope
- Acting as the primary customer contact, including progress meetings (e.g. with ASML)
- Reporting project status to customers and internal stakeholders
- Leading and develop a team of 7–8 Project Engineers
- Coordinating and managing escalations
- Translating customer needs into clear project plans and deliverables
- Monitoring progress, risks, and dependencies across projects
- Aligning closely with internal departments such as Engineering, Operations, and Sales
- Ensuring effective communication and collaboration within project teams
Your team
You will be part of the Engineering Department and report to the Manager Engineering. You will lead a team of Project Engineers while working closely with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Commercial departments.
The team operates in a dynamic high-tech environment, where collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement are key. You play a central role in connecting teams, customers, and project objectives, ensuring successful project delivery across the organization.
