Job Requirements

  • MBO/HBO work and thinking level
  • Experience (+5 years) as a CNC miller or tuner in plastics or metalworking
  • Experience (3-5 years) with external programming of 3 and 5-axis milling or turning machines
  • Knowledge of and experience with One CNC is a plus
  • Good command of the English and Dutch language

Job description

At HQ Plastics, we manufacture high-quality plastic components for customers operating in demanding high-tech industries. As a CNC Operator, you play a key role in ensuring that our products are manufactured accurately, efficiently and according to the highest quality standards.

Working with advanced CNC machines, you are responsible for setting up, operating and optimizing production processes. You collaborate closely with programmers, engineers and quality colleagues to deliver precision parts that meet customer expectations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Writing, adapting and optimising CNC programs.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, work orders and specifications.
  • Setting up CNC mills and/or lathes machines.
  • Monitoring the quality of products during the production process.
  • Resolving deviations in the production process that result from programming.
  • Contributing to improvements in the production process.
  • Reporting progress and deviations to supervisor or work preparation.
