In this role you are responsible for distributing work, staff schedules and coordinating with colleagues and internal departments at one of our locations in Veldhoven. You ensure the orderly and efficient running of logistics processes. You supervise the loading, unloading and preparation for shipment and order picking. In this role you act as the first point of contact for and manage up to appr. 15-20 [independent] logistic employees. You are the operational replacement in the absence of the team leader. The job is carried out in two shifts; one week early shift, the other week late shift. Your training period will take appr. 6-8 weeks and will be in daytime.

Responsibilities:

• You coach and manage your team. We highly value people-oriented;

• Ensure efficient deployment of employees, planning and coordinates technical disruptions with the technical department;

• Contribute to the optimization of processes, makes proposals for improvements Perform work where necessary;

• Ensure compliance with company regulations in the areas of safety, environment and order/ cleanliness;

• Resolve unsafe situations and conduct audit walks;

• Comply with the given (safety) instructions and use personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary.

In this role you will have a lot of freedom and responsibility. You have knowledge of driving equipment, you chair day starts and maintain a helicopter view. You will work in a diverse team and there is a lot of room for your own input. You’re not afraid to take ownership!
