Job description
HQ Plastics, specialized in plastic processing, is looking for a CNC Operator/ Miller-Turner to join our team. In this role, you are the linchpin of our production, where precision and craftsmanship go hand in hand. We believe in team spirit and are looking for an engaged colleague with a positive work attitude, driven, and meticulous in their work.
As CNC Operator/ Miller-Turner you will determine the work sequence of the production of a product based on the product order and technical drawings. You operate the lathe/ milling machine, clamps plastic and ensures the correct output of products. You perform quality checks by means of measuring equipment, performs preventive maintenance on machines, tools and other materials. Is able to deal with shape and position tolerances. Must adhere to the (safety) instructions given and use personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary.
Your activities will include:
- Setting the CNC machines
- Clamping and manufacturing of plastic products
- Performing quality checks with common measuring tools
- Performing preventive maintenance on the machines, tools and fixtures that are used
- Reading and interpreting the technical drawings correctly
- Dealing with shape and position tolerances
Your team
HQ Plastics is specialized in manufacturing and adapting high quality plastics and final products. We provide turning-, milling and combination products in small series or single pieces. It is also the possibility of assembly, cleaning and combining by plastic welding techniques. We produce, innovate and like to think along with new solutions to complex cases. We are the specialist in the field of plastic processing. Our core activity is CNC machining. We do this with CNC turning, milling and with combination machines. In addition, we are also involved in plastic welding, post-processing and assembly.[BH1]

Our strength lies in the production of small series orders to medium-sized orders and aim for short delivery times. In addition to plastic machining, we specialize in welding, finishing and assembling products. HQ Plastics can provide measurements reports and the corresponding material certificates and we have the opportunity to clean products to the desired grade.
